Our highly successful competition team members have won top awards throughout the region and across the nation! By starting with the best dance instructors available, offering leading edge choreography, providing excellent practice facilities, developing clear communication processes for the team families, and encouraging the team members to be their best, the Coastal Starz Dance Company has created an environment unmatched in our region!
Training – We follow a curriculum that safely trains dancers for a healthy, long and dynamic dance career - whether they dance through High School or beyond. Our company members are required to train 3 days a week, throughout the season. At Coastal, our instructors have extensive training in their expertise. Your dancer will receive training in ALL styles - ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater - as we believe that the best dancers are well-rounded dancers!
Opportunities – From conventions to intensives we make sure parents know what possibilities are out there and we create time in the year to attend these events. PLUS, our dancers experience multiple performing opportunities each year and have a plethora of master teachers that come to Savannah, specifically to help train them.
Visiting Instructors – CPAA's network is forever expanding, with teachers constantly traveling to Savannah to work with our dancers. We only bring in teachers who can inspire and invest in our dancers - we NEVER bring in big names for the sake of their name.
